Fiber glass materials are made of molding silica and glass into fibers. They can with stand temperatures up to 200 C0 yet they are venerable to water. They are used for mild heat and acoustic insulation.
The Blankets range from densities starting with 12 to 24 kg/m3 and thicknesses ranging from 25 mm to 40 mm.
They can be of with or without Aluminum foil facing.
